Charlotta: Curiosity leads to exciting opportunities

"Over the years, I've held many different roles and worked at various sites within SCA. Ican relate to both production and products, and I know where things originate. The forest industry is fascinating and encompasses so much.

I started as an operator at the Ortviken paper mill straight after graduating from high school. That’s when I became interested in the forest industry and decided to study to become a forestry engineer. After completing my studies, I returned to Ortviken to work in the marketing department, where I was responsible for production planning and supply chain management.

At Ortviken, we established a Customer Service Center, which I was put in charge of. Later, I was offered the opportunity to move to Östrand and work on similar issues, but within the pulp segment. There, I also got the chance to work in sales, with responsibility for several markets.

In recent years, I've been with SCA Logistics. First as Head of Chartering, responsible for sea freight, and more recently as Commercial Manager, also responsible for road and rail transport as well as terminals across Europe.

My curiosity and passion for developing SCA’s operations and logistics have led to new and exciting challenges."
