What do we do at SCA?
SCA is driven by the force of the forest. As the largest private forest owner in Europe, our most valuable asset is the incredible wood fiber. When managed responsibly, it becomes a resource that lasts forever.
We optimize the use of wood fibre to create sustainable products for global customers, for example timber, packaging paper, and pulp. Our land hosts environmentally friendly wind power, and we produce biofuels, biodiesel, and biochemicals from by-products of the forest and forestry industry.
Efficient logistics solutions are in focus, both on land and at sea. Additionally, we offer a broad range of services for forest owners seeking profitable and sustainable forestry practices.
Through our research center, the SCA R&D Centre, we ensure that we stay at the forefront of innovation.
With 3,400 employees, the majority based in Norrland, from Söderhamn and northwards. Our headquarters are in Sundsvall. However, we provide job opportunities in over 40 locations across Norrland.

Through innovation and development, we continuously improve our products and services – and create new ones. We also become even better at utilizing the full potential of trees. In addition, we find more opportunities to replace fossil-based materials with renewable raw materials from the forest.
